The IOM coupling height (higher than 16mm standard) emphasises them, and I read that there's quite an overhang on tighter radii, so made the pivot rather than mount them on the bufferbeams. The front one certainly needs the pivot moving to give it less swing, but it will still be higher than the smoke box apron...Like it!
But, with choppers like that, it can only be named 'Cyrano'.

Looking good - I suppose the other tell-tale of Baldwin descent is the outside frame on the front pony truck.Rather like Brough Superior motorcycles, which were assembled and tested before being dismantled for final painting, my re-worked Lyn is complete apart from a couple of tasks so I put everything together for one last check. Final painting will follow, and RC installed when I get the time, but for now, time to take stock...

Hello Jasper, I got them off Ebay off a French bloke. They are Citroens and left hand drive. I remember in the UK in the 1960s, some imported cars, mainly Beetles, were LHD. So with a little imagination, these could have found their way to the English MidlandsWhere did you get those?
