2-8-2 tank engine

Wow,, well impressed, a couple of questions:
  1. Is this freelance, constructed from photos or did you have the drawings.
  2. Which items were additionally sourced after the donor chassis.

Cor, yes, a hooge amount of work - love it.

What is the chassis? Is is BBT, or Aristocraft, or .......?

No drawing but looked at a lot of tank engine photos then proceeded with my own imagination. Parts include a bachmann connie cab, annie domes, lionel smoke box door. Thanks for all the kind comments. My friend was very happy with the results.

More of a scratch build than a kit bash but either way a beautiful job, nice seeing something besides store bought, Bill

Might have been Krupp 2-8-2, part of the series that the Harz 99 6001 is the inly one of. A newquid 99-6001 could nicely be bashed into this!

well I have a nice 2080S that I have been thinking about, this might be an inspiration to do something larger that "Rosy"

Genius level attained

Just caught up with this one, cracking build on the loco, like the freight cars too and by the looks of it a very fine railroad, ditto what Mike says above;););):envy::envy:

Thanks for all the comments. To be clear the engine was built by me the cars were built by John Bouck. Also that beautiful railroad is also Johns. Like to make sure credit goes where credit is due ;)
