Offering Garden Railway Holidays in SW France
Just in case anyone's interested, the CVDP "Circuit Vapeur Denis Papin" (Denis Papin is considered the father of steam engines in France. the same way Trevithick and Stephenson are!) is holding an open weekend in June. Entry is free and bring your own Live Steam or Battery power to run on their over 300M of permanent track. Catering is available each day for 10 euro. The circuit is approx halfway between Tours and Orleans and easy to reach from UK.

A group of us went in 2014 and were made very welcome. I shall be attending.

Highly recommended. PM me if you're thinking of going, there are plenty of hotel options nearby.
