Are you totting for buisiness on behalf of Accucraft ?

Not sure what you are referencing with totting??

As stated in the original post its a project I have been working on for the last 2 years and Accucraft is the builder. Currently I am accepting interested reservations for the loco as it is a limited run of 50pcs. All the details are posted on my website if you are interested. I had only referenced the images here as many are not aware of the project. Diamondhead is where the prototype was unveiled.

Thats a very pretty loco, she looks positively dainty compared to the passing Hunslet. I'm sure they will sell like hot cakes to those who model American Narrow gauge :thumbup::thumbup:

The engine actually ran in Australia at the Bundaberg cane company. It still operates today as a park. Though the design was widely used on 2' and 3' gauges worldwide.

What's the problem? No different to Sealion post ing developments from the UK?

It isn't a problem. Any news of a new product can only be good for the hobby.

The only difference I see however is that Sealion, Mr Pendlebury, Swift Sixteen and Others, being in the trade as it were, contacted the Moderating team and clearly declared their intentions before posting up their products/updates etc.

As a "trader" posting product updates etc you're essentially getting free advertising, so just give the Mods or Admin team a nod first as a matter of courtesy.

One Baldwin looks much like another to me  http://www.australiansteam.com/baldwin10533.htm if anyone would like to see the real thing :nerd:

Looks lovely. How would this model compare size-wise with the LGB Chloe and Olomana beasties which I own currently? I take it 7/8 scale is a big larger?

Fair 'nuff Gareth, thanks for posting an explanation. Jason is an accredited Accu dealer in the US, it just looked like Rod was having a pop and I couldn't see why.

Here's a photo from afar Nick, that shows the difference - that's a G scale Caledonia at the back (with Jason's IoM Cleminson coaches by the look of it) , and 7/8ths new Accucraft productions to the front.. Can't wait for my Hunslet, but the 0-4-2 looks huuuge too, especially with that stack.

Wow! How good would a chuffer be in that stack!!!

Hugh
You might need ear defenders Hugh :D

Sadly, like John's Groundle Glen loco, it is the wrong gauge for me - and the 6" width of this one would need careful thought......
One can dream though.....
Cheers
Chris
