7/8ths Betty and the Tubs

Hi folks
Another video I'm afraid! Here my Roundhouse hybrid "Betty" is hauling modified Swift Sixteen tubs on Roy Wood's railway. This was one of four films we made in a day that seemed to have more air and road traffic than usual (this is way out in the country). For a couple of the takes I just dropped my bean bag on the tubs and plonked my large camera on it. The result was that I spotted a gland nut that needed tightening.....
I have also included a few snaps to show Betty's origins.

You can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWT...65/0537b09758714c489fb18bfcc2761342.jpg[/IMG]

Very nice Chris, I am gussing Betty started out as a RH Bertie, that you have added the more normal RH valve gear to instead of the slip eccentric. RH should offer this set up, for 7/8th's as a factory engine!! Mike

Thanks guys - and yes Mike, this is a blend of Bertie and Katie. Not done by me though, I just did the cosmetics. You can read a scan of the Garden Rail article (courtesy of Atlantic Publishers) here:

And you are right Clive - my Busybody driver is one of five here, but I get the feeling the Mr Bennett is into cloning:D
Cheers
Chris
