A little more Merlin Mayflower

Hi folks
Back in January, Roy Wood and I made a 'spare' film of my Mayflower. As weather and other factors have conspired to limit my video making in the past few weeks, I dusted it off and uploaded it to Youtube.
You can see it here:

Another fun video, Chris. Thanks for the tour.

Thanks guys - glad you enjoyed it (and the photo)!

When Spring arrives and the wind drops, it will be nice to get some more vids here, but I shall be stopping off to make the odd film en route to Peterborough....
Cheers

I love your videos and layout. Spring is slowly arriving here. Still waiting for the flowers. Once things green up Ill be shooting some videos of my new Lumberjack (does not like the cold) and my new Sammie.

Spring is here. Flowers are blooming, grass is blooming, trees are blooming. Pollen is everywhere. Strong winds lately to spread the pollen. Allergies for many are running rampant. :(

It sounds like it is time to start cleaning the track.

Thanks Shawn:)
if your Sammy has arrived, then I guess you are busy with the running in. I gave my Bertie a good 8 hours as recommended - some on blocks and some on a rolling road (though the latter is not essential). A friend has a very well run in Sammy (hundreds of hours) and it is an absolute joy to run.
Have you started on the weathering/modifying yet?
Cheers
Chris

Chris my Sammy arrived on tuesday but did not get to test it until today. I took it out for its first test run today. It runs great. Glad I got it. The weather today is not great; cool, breezy, cloudy and rain on the way ugh....... At least I got one run in. Im going to set up my portable in garage and run it in.
The only thing I did so far was blacken the couplers. I really like what you did to your Bertie and will prob do alot of the same. Once the Sammy is paid off I plan on getting the needed detail parts etc...... I will paint the wheels, siderods and maybe the smoke box. Still have not decided yet if I should keep it gray or paint.
I have to stop watching your videos, your a bad influence :)
