A question of scale..

I recently completed an IP kit of a Talyllyn Rly coach (my first attempt at a coach) having only made a couple of IP wagons in the past. Whilst I like the coach, it seems out of scale with an Accucraft loco. Is this correct, or am I using the wrong wheels?
I rather like the look of the new Brandbright freelance coach which I may try next.

Try looking up a picture of the real things, some of the narrow gauge stock is small in comparison with other lines
