Accucraft and Roundhouse - Double Headed

Another little video and as some will know, quite a challenge with two R/C locos. In fact we set the Edrig based "Bert Webster" on part throttle and then Roy controlled it with the Fowler. We managed to move some passengers up the line and there is even a little slow motion....
At one stage during the filming, I needed to raise the bean bag camera support up. The only thig to hand was a box with more waggons in so I grabbed that and put it on its side. Then right in the middle of the take, all the gravel in one wagon fell out. You might well hear it on the film:)

You can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGCHDlI3My0 And on my website as usual. Cheers Chris

Loved it Chris, and I did hear the gravel.
It's good to know I'm not the only who has this type of mishap.
A recent shoot (I didn't upload) involved panning on a tripod.
I forgot to loosen the horizontal clamp, and there are some ghostly groans in mid-shot.

Very nice - and something different with the passengers!

Thanks guys!
I have tried most cock-ups Rob - but never the one with a squeeky tripod:D In fact I have never managed to pan with a tripod at all as it never seems to track where I want it to.
A new near disaster yesterday was when Roy's neighbour's son started his drum practice just as we started setting up. Luckily he got fed up just as we got steam up so we didn't need to call in the air strikes....:)

Glad you liked the passenger bit Mick - though that did involve a bit of rushing about when I forgot them!
Cheers
Chris

You forgot the passengers??? :)

It must have been exciting for them. I hope that they had discount tickets!

The video was excellent and most interesting. Did you shoot it on your RR, Chris?

Thanks George - and the passengers has so much manhandling that they had to go free:D
The film was made on Roy's Holt Wood Light Railway which is about an hour away from my Summerlands Light Railway. The woodland backdrop makes it perfect for filming and the length of it means plenty of exercise!
Cheers
Chris

nice vid, super low shots and all driven at a sensible NG speed. Great. Also brought back happy memories of my Roundhouse Fowler that was the same colour but has sin.e been sold out of service.
