Does anyone know if the IOM and L&BR rolling stock take 25mm or 32mm diameter wheels, I need some 45mm gauge ones to replace the 16mm wheels on some stock ive just obtained.
You could always try adding plasticard discs to the wheels which I've found is a cheap way of solving the problem - see http://www.gscalecentral.net/IP-Engineering-wheels-and-LGB-pointwork-m231059 < Link To http://www.forum.gscalece...pointwork-m231059KentKeith said:The L&B coaches have the smaller 25mm wheels which do not like uneven track and some LGB pointwork on the EG&SNNR. I tried Bachmann 25mm wheels on my L&B coaches but the Bachmann axles are thicker than the Accucraft ones. Now trying to work out what to do......sort out the uneven track or sort out the wheels.
The IoM coaches have the larger 32mm wheels (with deeper flanges than the 25mm wheels on the L&B coaches) and have no problem going over the trackwork on which the L&B coaches derail.
