For Sale - Accucraft Dora Loco 45mm gauge only
This has been used only a handful of times, comes complete with box etc - only noticeable differance is slight lighting of smokebox door paint due to steaming
Specification: (from Accucraft website)
Twin-cylinder oscillating steam ‘motor’
Single flue, Gas-fired boiler
Scale: 1:20.3
Gauge: 45mm
Length: 63/4 in. / 155mm
Width: 31/2 in. / 89mm
Height: 61/2 in. / 154mm
Minimum Radius 2′ / 600mm
Fittings: Safety valve, lubricator, regulator, reverser.

My name is Andrew Lyons and I live in Ashtead, Surrey.
I am searching for a Dora for I need a small engine that I can use, rather than larger things I have. My railway was in my garden in France and now I have returned home I want something simple. This would be ideal. The price of a new Dora is 385 with Accucraft and so I think you are a bit over the top.
Please let me know whether you want to sell straight away and I'll pay in cash and look and collect.

Andrew, I have one of these locos and I love it! It takes time to run in, it goes like a rocket, and it doesn't have much of a run time compared to most other engines, but it really is a lovely little engine. Someone has installed RC in one, how I'm not sure, cause there ain't a lot of room!
 
The original 'Sale' post in this thread is from 2017..

I would guess the model is long-gone?

I am happy to move on to a purchase. I have tried many times in the past to buy one, but they never have got one. They have now stopped the sales and it is impossible to get one from Accucraft.
Help me please.
Where are you living?
I would be happy to drive down to meet you, look at the engine and buy it with cash.
I have already spoken to one of the specialists who is happy to check it all over and fit a pressure gauge, and then look at fitting radio control.

Andrew, may I respectfully suggest that you try to PM the seller, by using the envelope icon on the top right to see if this loco is still for sale?

The OP has only made 57 posts in 10 years.

As a frequent user of this forum, I do not recall seeing any of his posts, so I assume he doesn't log in very often....

Andrew, if this posting was meant for me, I'm sorry if I gave the wrong impression, but I don't want to sell the engine. Have you checked the 16mm Association website or Kent Garden Railways?
