Accucraft Shay/Cricket video

Shawn

Hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing
I finally received my Summerlands Chuffer for my Accucraft Shay. What a difference in the sound. I also acquired a few months back, an original Berkeley Cricket. Art from Bellflower (current maker) had to put a new plate on the burner for some reason it was missing. Yesterday I had the chance to test it out and break it in.
The lazy days of summer are slowly coming to an end. Trees are loosing some of their leaves and the nights are getting cooler. In another month the leaf battle will be in full swing ugh............................ I really need to learn to imbed the links.

What a difference the Chuffer Pipes make to a Locomotive. Love the editing on this, broadcasting quality. That hut at SPRING is a super piece of lineside modelling.

Oh yes Shawn - you have just made my day! The Chuffer sounds nice (thank you!), but it is the railway and the filming that make the Shay vid so fantastic - this could be my favourite :D
The Cricket is a great little loco too - and you managed a whole different set of camera angles for a lovely film - that must have taken some doing!
Cheers

Looks and sounds very nice Shawn :)
I see it's good at collecting leaves have to watch those gears , have had a few sticks caught in my Bachmann shay before and brought it to a stand still.

Thanks guys. I also had my Forney running last night and today. I posted these in the picture section as well.

Thanks again for all the compliments.
Ugh we got our first frost for the season this past Wednesday and then another yesterday morning. On a good note the cold mornings make great steam plumes:D
