Used some old roof flashing. I did this a while ago and it appears just enough to make a difference without overloading the gear train.
1. Bottom plate removed and a coil wrapped around the rear support (mind the lecky contacts at the rear)
2. Some strips between the boiler and the chassis, looks awful, but that's the flash making it look worse than it is. In reality it's hardly noticeable.
3. There is a gap between the front of the chassis and the cylinders, and also in the cylinder transverse mounts. Here you can see they have been filled. Lastly the air reserviors come apart and some shot was put in there.
Works for me, but it's up to you of course whether you consider it a risk to the drive. It has to be said the Indy drives are a big improvement over the older "colombia" (so I am told).
