After getting my Accucraft live steam Bumble Bee thought it would be nice to get the Green Frog DVD ( Denver & Rio Grande Western And The Bumble Bee #268) but can't seem to find any copies in the UK only ones that play in the USA region 1 .
Does any one have a copy that they would like to sale or know where i could get a UK copy

Have you tried SPV - Steam Powered Video. That's where I have got my UK playable Green Frog and other D&RGW DVD's from. Could also try the Signal Box in Leicester.
Max.

Hi Richer in Crete at the moment will. heck when back. I am pretty sure that have one. if so, will ' translate' it for you

Richie - check on the interwebnet for whatever brand of DVD player you have - the majority of them these days can be turned into multi-region players just with a simple software "unlocking" code punched in via the remote control - once that is done you can happily play region 1 and 2 discs (or any others, for that matter). Especially on the lower-priced players, there is usually no need to do anything to them physically, it's all done via the keypad code, and you only have to do it once.
I think that on one of mine, it was something as simple as opening the disc drawer, keying in "hash-1-2-3" on the remote, then shutting the drawer again! That's just an example, all types are different, so check for yours. Even Amazon list the codes online for most of the players that they sell.....

Oh, I got it, don't worry.... my reply was a separate issue from Mike's altogether, just pointing out if you want to play US region 1 DVDs that HAVEN'T been, ahem... "translated", you don't necessarily have to buy a new "multi-region" player - because you've probably already got one but don't know it!

That sounds great Jon as you tend to see a lot of DVD's from the states half the price they cost here on e bay .
