Apache Falls...in situ,,and Freight depot

Riograndad

Model Railroading, boats and oil painting,
Country flag
Just an old pic of Main St on the day we put it in situ, late summer 13,the water tower now gone, timber frame rotted,Piko tower being bashed at moment to replace, the yellow "shed"is the cover for the 6v battery used for the lighting, roadway is 20thou BLACK plasticard, use it as doesnt fade and weathers ok,(ideal for roof tiles and covering too)any wiring goes underneath, easy to fix also, all cars are pre "58,mostly de hot rodded plastic kits, some die cast, although there is an ALCO(ex WP&Y) loco in the shops awaiting paint,so possibly later model cars will bring me up to about 1970,(loose them when running steam :))The frieght depot and small water tower on the spur, were thrown together to give me structures when the first track went down, the depot deck and the tank frame are BALSA!!2YRS outside, and still serviceable, but will need replacement soon, and also the depot wants rebuild and lots more detail, but for now,,,,,,,,,
