Aristo craft 1998 Club Critter

Hi All,

Just bought the above loco on Ebay to add to my collection. It is a "Track Maintenance Division" loco coloured grey.

It is in excellent condition and looks as new and is also a very good runner.

Can anyone tell me anything about this loco. The loco came packaged in a box which originated from the USA and the date stamp is 1998. It is in such good condition that this date surprised me.

Has anyone any experience of these locos - any tips any hints for looking after them.

I now have two, they really are a great stumpy fat loco, only thing i dont like about them is how quick the wheels get mucky, affecting running. I clean them before every session.

They are great locos for Permanent Way trains, they just look right. Mine has been repainted into my fleet livery and is always in charge of the track cleaning car. I have tried to get one like yours before from Ebay but have always been outbid, they don't come up to often and usually fetch a good price compared with the standard versions.
