hi everyone -I am fairly new to g scale -my connie has two leads running from the loco to the tender -one has a couple of wires the other four -I will be operating this loco on dc -not digital -what do these leads do -do they both still have to be connected even though I am not using the loco digitally regards to all

Yep - plug 'em both in.
One does the electrical pick up from the tender wheels (and will do the sound if you ever get around to buying it
), the other does the rear light.
No probs on DC - she's a fine, fat loco
