I bought this Bachmann 10 wheeler via Ebay and it runs just fine. However, I've noticed that the siderods on each side seem to be adrift of what I assume is an idler arm. I'm not sure what is required to re-attach

them, so any advice would be a ppreciated. I'v

e blown up a pic to try to make the problem more clear.

You couldn't make the picture any larger or indicate the location of the missing screw?

Compare the attached image with yours. Each of the upper ends of the two red lines in the attached image terminate at a hole in a link. These should be joined by the missing screw.

I suggest you contact Bachmann Europe at Barwell.

I think the part you need is G813X-MTD40.
If Bachmann Europe can't help Bachmann in the U.S.may be able to supply the part.

Oh, sorry, I was looking in the wrong place :eek::eek:

And anyway, the motion's in the wrong position in my photo.

Helpfully useless :tmi::tmi::tmi::tmi:

.. and Neil's got far better eyesight than I have!

A little 10BA or M2/2mm nut bolt and washer will fix it. Max
Thanks - I guess the 10ba screw shank will pass through the siderod and into a threaded aperture on the idler arm? I'm calling it the "idler arm" but I haven't really got a clue as to the correct terminology.:nod:
