today i manged to cut all the bits up to form the basic shell of the doodlebug and glue the frame together
frame/chassis being glued together and the front half of the roof with a cutout at the driving end to allow the radiator box to be placed their.
front/end view showing the cab im going to cut out windows just above the grab handles and leave the door there so you can run a coach in front?. the cut out for the radiator is up on the roof its going to be a oblong box with a grill forward facing like a big air scoop iam not sure whether to leave the steps there or cut them off thoughts? theirs also going to be a cow catcher were the buckeye is a lamp on the door and a bell on the roof.
here's the full side view so far you've got the passenger compartment and then the baggage compartment the fore most opening is going to be the engine room with a bulkhead inside level with the opening hopefully their is going to be air tanks and exhaust stacks on the roof above the engine room and the clerestory opining atop the engine room will be louvered theirs a side window for the cab at the very front and a sliding door just behind that all complemented with the usual ironmongery of turn buckles and steps and handles and such. lots more to do !
