Hillwalking, chickens and - err - garden railways.
The interior lights on this coach have failed. It is the one with Heath-Robinson sprung copper strips which bear on the edges of the wheel flanges and which screech madly if you don't keep them lubricated.
It is not possible to get at the lights by simply removing the roof because it is fixed by screws inserted from below.
I removed the ten screws holding the floor and bogies to find that I can't remove the seat section because it appears to be held in place by two conducting strips with the feed wires soldered to them and which are bent through a right angle and screwed to posts.
Has anyone experience of unbending these without damaging them?
Also can anyone tell me what the bulb type is? Are they unique to Bachmann?
(I ought to have photographed the interior before re-assembling it!&o)
