Bachmann - Lynton & Barnstaple "Lyn"

SDJR7F88

Registered
Baldwin 2-4-2T, No. 762 "Lyn" on the Blagdon & Butcombe Light Railway (B&BLR), G Scale Garden Railway.
The model features plenty of detail and features, including, operational head lamp, separately fitted pipe work, opening smokebox, roof vent and cab doors, fully extensively detailed cab interior, plus powerful motor, for smooth and slow operation.
Here we see "Lyn" hauling a short rake of bogie coaches with ease around the challenging route of the B&BLR.
Hope you enjoy!

I see that you have been doing some scenics Callum, Valley View is very appropriately named for your location. Like the look. Not long to wait now for the new Lyn to arrive at Woody Bay, the pics I have seen show it to be a fabulous reproduction.

Thanks John! I have managed to get a bit done. The name was just a must for the station! Oh yes, went down to see her yesterday. She really is stunning!

Lovely video. The loco looks great. Having just taken delivery of my anonymous green equivalent it's nice to see one in action on an excellent looking line.
My only reservation with the model is the large gap that will exist between the loco and coaches or wagons with the LGB type coupling. Trying to shorten the bars they are attached to looks a little daunting!

Yes, is a bit of a big gap, though sure it can be done :)
