This battery pack isn't from a loco, it's actually from a security light and refuses to hold a charge overnight.

Everything seems to agree with the label except where it came from originally,or any code for replacement.

5 Ni-MH AA cells 1200 mAh, soldered together.

Assuming I can't find a direct replacement, presumably I can build one, but where is the latest "Best Buy" for tagged AAs?

Edit!!! Some flippin' pillock forgot to add the piccy! Dohhhhhhh!!!:clap::clap::clap:

Cheers Guys, Strikealite I have used before but lost the contact when the P.C. went down.

Finished up I went with Batteries Plus as the price for five was better than some sites were quoting for ONE!
£12 inc P&P

Some places don't seem to do tagged cells at all..

I agree with Philip, Strikealite is a good place to go. He does, as you may remember, batteries specifically with railway models in mind. I mostly run battery power and have found his batteries good and his advice good.

Any questions you may have he will answer - assuming you give him a 'phone call of course.
