Bethgon coalporter revived

I started this a while back. Its a flatpack for a Coalporter, only trouble is it's too flaming heavy in stainless. My chums place wont cut styrene either. So it's been dormant for a while. I have some more time available now so I got to thinking.

The original development drawing is in DXF format and have been reading about 3D printing, I wonder if any of you with more knowledge could give an opinion as to the practicality of alternatives to fabrication.

Your drawing could be lazer cut from plywood.

Possible, but not ideal. Seems like there is no interest, so I wont bother.

3D printing would be far too expensive Wod, an Om four wheel shunter a friend has done cost over £120 for the print itself not including development so I suspect that would cost well over £200, probably significantly.
