Binding a Spoerer TX-21

I'm trying to bind a Spoerer TX-21 to an OMNI RX22 but I don't have the instructions for the TX-21.
I've tried a few button pressing permutations without success.
Does anyone have the instruction sheet for the Spoerer TX-21 please ?
I'm wondering if the two are incompatible as I note the OMNI RX22 is labelled "for use with OMNI Transmitters" ?
Thanks,
Joe

Hello Joe,

The Spoerer Tx21 will be Deltang / Spektrum based, whereas the Omni is proprietary to Fosworks. - They speak different languages..

If Steve does not have a suitable receiver kicking about, then come back to me, And I should be able to sort you out..

Hi Joe I have a couple of the former Spoerer units, the binding procedure has been simplified in recent years by Fosworks but in the early days of Fosworks to the best of my knowledge was similar to that shown in this video. I have a Spoerer Tx-3.0 and this is the binding procedure shown in the data sheet for it. I am hoping that this information will work ok.

EDIT I have also found a Spoerer TX-23 data sheet and this talks about binding using a binding plug on the reciever so this may be the same for your unit as Phil suggests.

I have to say that I never found it a simple as Steve shows it in the vid, having to carefully read the notes and try it about 5 times before I got it right!

Thanks, that's interesting John.
The video shows a Spoerer TX-21 labelled OMNI.
My Spoerer TX-21 is not labelled OMNI.
Phil says the OMNI is different and is looking out a suitable RX board, hopefully !
Regards,
Joe

PS It's all a bind, or rather it isn't (Sorry !)
