It is generally accepted that your garden trains will look more realistic (and perform much better) running on the widest radius of curved track that you can accommodate.
This brand new high quality wide radius brass track from Piko (Germany), being 1565mm ( c. 5'1") radius or 3128mm (10'3") diameter is ideal for the purpose.
I have a couple of boxes surplus to requirements as I have decided to use Aristo-craft 10’ Radius Curves with USA style sleeper pattern for my new garden railroad.
Each curve is 15 degrees of a circle so there are 24 sections to form a complete circle.
It is currently listed in single sections on Ebay for £6.90 (UK SRP £9.00) + Postage & Packing but I can offer to GSC Members in packs of 6 sections for only £42 inclusive of Courier delivery to UK mainland addresses (although it might cost more to Highlands & Islands).
