I can't be certain, but this might be the seller who lived near Great Yarmouth (I think his existing eBay account is EastCoasrRailway) who also listed a lot of the Newqida/Train range. He used to have a warehouse near Hopton which I visited and bought a significant amount of stuff from.

Well, as a data point, I've already made a few "best offers" - they responded promptly, but were willing to only reduce a small amount from the listed prices (which some, IMHO, are a tad higher than market - and a few others are very fair... just the ones I'm looking at all fall in the first category!!)

Don't think there is anything suspicious - just nice nails!

I have been in contact with the seller to ask for more details and this is part of the response.

"my partner has amassed an LGB collection over the last 10 years or so with a goal to put it in our garden however he hasn’t been able to dedicate time to it with other hobbies going on.. he made the decision recently to sell the entire collection a lot not even unboxed hence the new profile etc I can send a video of the collection if you need and you are more than welcome to view"
Also:
"He got a lot of his collection from p&s hobbies and models in York who know us if you need reference"

YES, The Allegra set wont be om there long as it is a great price, but as you say other more expensive, I picked up a brand new Pola station. It was the zero feedback and history that troubled me and looked odd.

maybe his wife/partner (now ex) has absconded, moved into a new house (they all come with that same grey carpet now) and selling there stock off before they realise ! lol

I have purchased a few figure sets from this seller via eBay, I have also noticed that she is advertising on some Facebook groups as well. Seems to be basing the asking price on the euros sticker off of most items that seems a tad high.

Just to add one of the Facebook posts has pictures of the entire collection, most now seems to be added onto eBay

Well, she has to pay for those nice nails somehow....

Well my item turned up yesterday, brand new sealed Pola Oberndorf Station, unmade for £50, think they may have realised that some of the prices were wrong on smaller items as prices for other items similar Pola items to this went up in ££ after.

Turned up in an ex "Numan" Viagra packing so luckily the wife didn't see the post man delivering as there would have been some extra questions, but on the flip side of the coin those "Mrs red nails" will be happy. not just with her sales !

Steady on!

We may be of an age when these comments were allowed, but we are only allowed to say them in our heads, these days...

:rofl::rofl::rofl:Ah let him, im always one step off being cancelled, will; treat it a badge of honor until they take away my social credits, but luckily Im letting our lord judge me rather than the "pagan woke gods".

What does worry me is the "We may be of an age when these comments were allowed " oh dear ! only on 47 and cancelled already by the though police............Think I can off set it all by driving a semi electric van !

Electric van!?

Burn him! Burn him, I say!!!
:D

How long is the extension lead?

Skewing even more off-topic...
How can they advertise nnn miles range*?

*nnn miles range not presently available until Q2 2026..

Total snake-oil.

When has anything ever stayed on topic here ! especially when as unimportant as my original topic starter, thats why i like this group on here, Were G scalers !

hahah, Semi (not as in numan) but as in self charging Hybrid... Ok its a pretend van anyway, someone just stole the two back seats of my Corolla at the factory down the road from you, if you see any spare back seats around the Derby area they may be mine, but the tax man says I cant have them back. 55mpg it claims on its screen.

I've ordered a couple of things - a box of R2 curves and a Polo 330915 signal box I've been seeking for a while. The signal box caused a bit of a postage from (Jersey life...) but the seller was wonderful at working with me to get it sorted. It's on its way now.

The blue pullman coaches are stunning but I've been indulgent recently so cannot bring myself to order them too...

Figures turned up today, already been fitted to some coaching stock, just waiting in a engine shed for my dad which she accepted an offer on,
