Well our trip to Brazil has come to an end. We arrived home Friday evening after thirty two hours of planes and airports. We had gone to visit with my daughter-in-law's family. They live in a farming community about a half day's ride west of Sao Paulo. And what a ride it is!! Everyone in Brazil drives like there's no tomorrow, whew!! We found the people to be warm, friendly and helpful. Even with the language barrier, we were able to get along well. My youngest daughter was with us and picked up the language quickly however, so that made it a bit easier. We also visited Rio for the last five days of our trip. I'm sure glad I didn't have to drive there. We took city buses instead. They're wilder than the automobile drivers!!
