C19 just arrived

Brand new Accucraft C19 has just arrived from the new American colonies.
My own track is still under construction.
Would any of you kind Accucraft experts with a track be able to help me give her her first run?

You've forgotten I run live steam as well as electric! Quite a long run if you ignore the reverse loops. You know where I am.... :bighug:

My loco isn't going to work right out of the box, the steam pipe from the lubricator isn't connected to anything!

This is why I need an Accucraft expert.

Peter, thanks, I hadn't forgotten you run steam, when she's running with RC I'll bring her over.

In which case I endorse Tac's suggestion of contacting member main 131. He has a fair bit of experience running several brands of live steamers and also has all the right contacts with the U.K. people who can sort out any problems that may occur.

I'm on the south coast if you want to bring it down here for a test run and any fault rectification.

That's very nice :D will look great in steam with a train of AMS freight cars :thumbup:
 
Did you purchase this engine from a USA dealer ? I believe Accucraft USA make it very clear that warranty is limited to the country of origin.

So if it needs repair and you want it done F.O.C by Accucraft you may have to ship it back to the dealer from where you purchased it ? In the UK or elseware.

If you have problems with an engine your first call should be to the supplying dealer what ever country it is purchased in.

Sorry if this all sounds a bit negative but you should be aware of your warranty cover.

You are, as I said previously, welcome to bring the engine down here for checking if you want.

What will the servo operate, and how?
I guess the throttle, but by lever or chain?
Where are you based?

I think they bo-booed on the door hinges there. If memory serves they both open with the hinges on the left. Driver can get down and work the points and the fireman can access the tender, which is difficult if the firemans door is hinged as shown.
