Can you see what it is yet?

Apols to Rolf, good ol' boy that he is.

The L&L shops have been mighty busy of late, and have not yet quite finished their latest project, but the foreman is pleased with the lads efforts, and thought he would do the live steam equivalent of the box opening that our LGB friends tease us with....

So....can you see what it is yet?!8D

Can't be an 0-4-0, the centre wheel is flangeless and the coupling rod extends past that. More like a Jinty or similar 0-6-0.

Outside cylinders, 0-6-0, is it a 2F dock tank?

Carn't be a re-painted Caledonia :thinking::thinking:

There's not much else that's 6-coupled

Lady Anne ?

Hugh gets the pize, of.....well....nothing, other than the kudos!

It is indeed Caledhoonia - dhoo being Manx for black.

Neil R, not BR mixed traffic, the lion logo has been sublty altered, by Chris Moxham to my commission.

Rolf would be proud of that one....

She wears that livery well , super job :thumbup::thumbup:

A very fine job. :bigsmile:

That livery suits the loco well.

Have you fitted R/C and will the loco carry a name?

Hi Neil, yes, planet 5 r/c, same as my blue one, not sure about a name yet, Caledhoonia was suggested - dhoo is Manx for black! Mike (GHWOOD) already had 'Mhoddey Dhoo' = black dog... so I can't use that!:rolf:

To my mind; a very brave fellow! To take a new loco and even contemplate such a radical make-over takes a lot of confidence (never mind the skill). I'd probably b****r it up coz I was fightened of doing just that.

Tick, tick V.G.
