Cattewater and Southern No.5

Too much of a good thing is nearly enough.

Over the years I have 'operated' a number of lines, but it is not common for a loco to be swopped between them. I acquired a Bachmann 'Lyn' many years ago and it joined my 'Pakefield Joint' fleet painted chocolate and cream. This was disbanded in 2013 when the other half of the 'joint' management moved away, and Lyn thus became a British Railways locomotive in black and has operated as such for the last decade. I took over the Cattewater and Southern during 2013, with all their steam locos (Nos.1, 4, 7 and 8) and much of the rolling stock but a fifth engine....a diesel numbered 5....somehow escaped and was sold elsewhere. This made me always feel the Company was short on the roster so January 2025 has seen the Lyn transfer over and take the number 5 and has now entered service with C&S, the photo shows her trundling along with cars 10 and 3.
