Dcc equipment cabinet

Not sure if this is the right section. I would like to build a cabinet that i can put my dcc equipment/electronics in. I lack in creativity. So I’m looking for ideas so it wont just be a square cabinet with a door. Can anybody think of anything railroad related that i could model for the equipment cabinet?

For storage, or will the equipment be powered up in the cabinet?

Inside. I want to actually put the equipment in there powered up. Of course with an intake fan and exhaust.

The "stuff" that makes up DCC (central station, boosters and power supplies etc) is similar in appearance to what it located in a lineside hut for track circuited signals.

I would have a look in Ikea if you have one nearby, plenty of varying options but do not forget that Office and Child section may have something suitable.

My units are outdoors and I used a home electrical panel water proof version.
Indoors I just have mine on top of a bureau and store many items in the draws (rolling stock).
