Dingler gmbh locos in G (IIm) scale....?

Does anyone on here know much about, or better still actually have, one of the G scale locos produced a few years ago for the German firm of Dingler? Particularly their Wurttemburg Ts3/DR 99121 0-6-0?

I've had a rummage on t'interweb, but my google-fu is weak today... I've been able to find very little info even from the manufacturer's own site which has little on it apart from a few pictures (they seem to have sold out of all the limited-production models).

Anybody got one? Anybody know someone who has?

Thanks!

Jon.

PS: there is a long story behind this, I'll post more in due course.....

(No, but I've got one of their equally rare N gauge diesel shunters made for the German Post Office. No help at all!)

Interesting, Nick - from their website I didn't think they did anything smaller than O gauge.....?
Is the N shunter a good model?

I would say 4 out of 5. It's quite smooth but has no flywheel - something that I remember N Bahn Magazin picked up on. Trying to remember when it came out, I think 2005 ish. I'll post a photo when I get home.
They also did a long wheelbase van which I've got somewhere. I think these were specials for Deutsche Post, I don't think Dingler were ever serious about going into N.

I was close: it was produced in 2004.

Haven't seen Ts3 much in action though the Ts5 seems to be around in a few numbers going by photographs on a few forums/ homepages etc. not sure if the batches were actually fully sold out due to their steep price tag...

YES I HAVE ONE IN BLACK IT WAS ALSO SUPPLIED IN GREEN I BELIEVE IT IS FITTED WITH A FAULHABER MOTOR IT RUNS VERY QUIETLY AND IS POWERFULL THE WHOLE THING IS QUITE HEAVY AND WILL PULL QUITE A LOAD THE ORIGINAL ESU SOUND UNIT WAS DISCARDED AS THE VOLUME WAS VERY POOR AND A MASSOTH UNIT FITTED IN THE CAB THIS IS STILL CONNECTED TO THE ORIGINAL TWIN SPEAKERS I BELIEVE THE ORIGINAL MODEL WAS FIRST PROPOSED BY A KAUTH BUT I THINK THE PROJECT WAS TAKEN OVER BY DINGLER I HAVE CONTACTED DINGLER IN THE PAST WHO HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL THIS MODEL AND ITS SISTER THE 0-10-0 POP UP FROM TIME TO TIME ON THE GERMAN EBAY SITE PICTURES OF MY LOCOS AND STOCK CAN BE FOUND ON THE YDGS WEBSITE UNDER BADEN MEINHOFF IN THE PHOTOS SECTION

further to my reply the loco was a limited production of 100 units in three liveries. they are apparently very accurate dimensionally and have a very superior finish to most brass models just ask if you have more questions
