Driving Van Trailer in G?

Hi All,

I don't run to any prototype. I have a rake of Chinese coaches which I pull with my 2095. I would like to propel this rake with a coach or van with a cab at the other end as push pull operation.

Does anything exist in G? - as I said it doesn't matter about accuracy - I am just looking for an unmotorised vehichle with a cab.

Or do I need to bash something...?

Ian

I once purchased an LGB 3063 ( I think ) coach which had been adapted, well the coach end had been painted and a driver figure added. I changed it back. This series of coaches has a 3 forward facing windows in each end, With the addition of lamps or lights , driver , pipe work and so on, the impression of a driving car could be achieved quite easily I think.
There is a 3062 coach in the sales thread, which is the same coach in a different colour.

funny was about say something similar, i've actualy conveted a 3062 to run with a Stainz as a driving trailer

Hi Ian,
I found another suggestion in the Spassbahnforum.

That really is a very clever conversion. If there was a suitable power truck still available I'd be seriously tempted to offer it as a kit.

Only just seen this, having been away on a break.

As Tim pointed out, I've chopped a NQD coach as a DVT. I made a mess of respraying it to match my Wizzy Bo-Bo though, then lack of time meant I haven't got around to rubbing it down and repainting it. I've also got to finish the other coach too!

Waiting for the new workshop to be finished at my MRC, then I'll strip it down and re-paint it in the new spray bay there....
