We also have sky blue sand and its hidden in a national park (near Rainbow beach) and to get it you have to hike about 1KM and avoid rangers, best to get it in pairs so that 1 of you can be cockatoo...
Tried giving the test coupons a squirt with the sand blaster to see if I could achieve a natural finish and it was not that successful.... I'll spray the master with matt finish, Gloss does look nice but to achieve a full gloss faultless finish is not easy.......
