Friction pads on K27 rear truck????

I am lubricating my k27 and noticed i dont have friction pads on my rear truck as shown in the bachmann truck.Can anybody with a K27,check if theirs have Friction pads on the rear truck of the loco Please

Hi Nico
By "friction pad" do you mean somthing similar to the arc shaped pad above the front truck which bears on the vertical sliding pin?
I have a v. 2 K27 without the plough, a quick look underneath does not reveal any friction pad and nothing shows on the schematic drawing.
Not a quick job lubricating is it? I lost count of the oiling points, each time I turned the wheels more seemed to appear.

you need patience for it .there a white piece of plastic,you can see them in figure 9 and 10 of manual or better still on the dvd

update ,just got an email from Bachmann stating that the design had been modified .im just waiting for them to clarify something.this is what they sead in email "We have checked this out and can confirm the design has been modified; you do not now need to lubricate it as shown."8|

Got clarification today from Bachmann it is as follows.i have to say they were very helpfull

Have doubled checked with the technician, definitely no friction pads, he says you can still lubricate as per instructions

I take it he was a very small technician.........
