GAUGE 1 NORTH, the Gauge 1 Yorkshire Group 1 day exhibition, will be on Saturday 23rd July 2022 at the Bakewell Agricultural Business Centre, Agricultural Way, BAKEWELL, DE45 1AH. Layouts present will be Ridings, 4 track mainline with new scenic additions, and Ruddlemoor Wharf, Gauge 1 in a small space. We hope to be able to offer shunting activities to younger visitors on the main layout. There will be good support from Gauge 1 Traders, and demonstrators will be on hand to show modelling techniques including painting and lining, scratch built wagon construction in various materials including card, building in miniature stone, steam raising, pattern making etc. Good car parking and cafe on site,and only a short walk from Bakewell town centre.
The Ridings layout will also be attending Peterborough Garden Railway show on 25th June, and the Gauge 1 75th Anniversary show at Bicester on 1st and 2nd October 2022.
