getting around curves

tramcar trev

all manner of mechanical apparatus...
Has anyone ever tried to get any of the commercial G gauge trams around a 250mm radius curve? No doubt with a little tinkering with the flanges ( to stop them climbing the rail) the 4 wheelers would do it but bogie cars may not due to limited turning abiltiy of the bogies....

AristoCraft has 20 inch dia. curves , bachmann streetcar and Hartland Interurbans will go round the curve , Hartlands are two bogie / 8 wheel cats .
And There are more that will work , most likely.

The other way is to open the gauge out slightly, as per prototype, no need to alter the flange profile, as done on some tramway networks. Alyn
