Guards Brake Van

Very nice Rob.

That's on the list after I've finished the Bachmann Davenport project and the station building!

Incredible level of detail Rob, as always. Very impressive.
I like the idea of stainless steel wheels. Presumably will pick up a lot less crud than plain steel.

:timeout:stop it.. must resits .. very nice ..VERY NICE :thumbup:

The stainless steel wheels are made for me by the same company that make Roundhouse wheels. The company make them up for me with the oiled brass Swift Sixteen tube already fitted. I did have the option of having steel wheels, but I thought my customers would rather SS !! even if they do cost a little more. As for picking up 'crud', I'm not sure ??

SS will not rust, SS will not peel or wear through. Also our 45mm SS wheel sets are also made with an LGB flange !! so no more problems with derailments caused by 32mm fanges on 45mm wheels !!

They are not yet fully standard stock but I can supply with SS if asked for. I still carry a small amount of the Accucraft wheels.

Thanks,
Rob.
