I have a couple of RhB Ge 4/4 III that sound dreadful (one LGB and one Massoth). They are nothing like the prototype, but the sound files on the web site here

make me think that it is worth converting. Yes, no sound is better that the wrong sound, to a rivet counter!

If anyone has actually bought a decoder (or a sound file download) I would be interested in your experiences.
 
I saw a You Tube video recently of a Kiss RhB Gem 4/4 fitted with Heinz Däppen sound and it did sound rather good!

But I can't find it now....
 
Well, I couldn't comment on the authenticity of the sounds but, there are a lot of them!
