Help Required in finishing my layout.

My health is rapidly failing in so far as I am unable to do much but have a bit of construction still to do and make reliable the control system to make the layout do that that I had hoped it would. I can not see it requiring many more than a few weekend equivelants. Beer sandwiches meals accomodation and beer tokens are on offer in Banburyshire.
 
Would love to help but I'm on the left side of the pond.....:(
 
I too would jump at the chance.......... However maybe there is a local club nearby that might have a member or to willing to lend a hand?

That is what I am looking for. At the moment I await having my heart shocked back to sinus when I hope to find more energy to get back to the railway. Its not a lot more to do when I hope that I can just run trains as I sit and chew the cud. There's a young lad in the village who is more than willing to help with the running but has not yet the maturity to help with the heavy stuff.
 
Sorry to hear about your health, and I hope it improves soon. Hope you find a willing helper. Running trains lifts your spirits and makes you feel better (even if you are not). Good luck!
 
Now I know where Banburyshire is (according to the banburyshire website "a mythical county") I might be able to help but only on a "day trip" basis.

I thought that you were further away, but I may be able to help. Only problem is that I cannot pull too much on neighbours to look after Barney so could he come as well, he will be happy in the Garden with me as I am doing stuff. If so perhaps you could pm me with contact so that we can chat about what needs to be done. Revkon Imcould spare 2 or 3 days. A control system could be made up separately at my place to install at yours.

I live over near Buckingham. Just where Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire & Northamptonsire meet. You are just up the A422 from me. I could do a bit for you. What sort of things need doing. DCC is not my area. But handy with DC, battery, live steam, peneumatics and general bodging. Max.
