I think it is a 3ft Gauge x Bord na Móna railcar probably at Moyasta Junction on the preserved section of the West Clare Railway. Serching for BnM Railcar pictures should find quite a few, but drawing hmmmmmmm

You couldn't be more precise could you? I mean, was it on a Wednesday in April or not? ;)

I was going to say Irish 3 ft - the blue and yellow flag confused me just in case it was Swedish.

Closer to lunch time you will find ;)
ha you are great,
Do you have the exact time? - Then I could take my time machine. Look at everything and take pictures.
Thanks for your tips, some of it I already knew, some of it was new.
Maybe some drawings or an interior view will turn up somewhere.

Ah research research research tabled with an inane interest in all things Irish Narrow Gauge, sad or what? But you may be surprised to know that if I had teken ( spoke in Yorkshire) the picture, time, exact location would likely have not been recorded except unless it was on digi camera but the location would not be as I turn location features off to save battery!

Actually you could perhaps ask the Railway? After all it still exists.

There might be some stuff in here - lots of dross to wade through, though :rolleyes:

A bit of Googling reveals photos of a further two identical railcars numbered 53 and 78. That indicates to me that quite a lot of these were built, probably to get the workers around to the peat cutting areas; so these are probably not railcars for railway work gangs, more likely they were transport for the labourers.
