Jollytoys at it again, selling this loco as an LGB item, and in the description it is "unassembled kit"!!!

Con man.

With a big Bachmann label on the smokebox door, he knows it's not LGB.

And the diesel certainly ain't a kit - it's a bodge bash on Playmobil workings

Fortunately, people don't have to buy and hopefully, at those prices, they won't.

Vary very early Bachmann Big Hauler. Looks very much like one of the battery powered jobbies.
I didn't realise that they had smoke units. The wheels look plastic, the motion definitely is plastic, but I don't remember a smoke unit in the one that I tore apart dismantled

I've had a more careful look at the evilbay picture and I think the wheels are metal, so track powered - could be version 3 before the Annie :nod:

Still not worth anything like £185 - £85 undamaged, but you can see the damage to the Westinghouse brake :lipssealed::lipssealed:

A good mate of mine bought me a Zillertal Keg Wagon from them as a present for my birthday this year (which was awfully nice of him). When it got here we opened it together and it was a total write off, everything broken, bodged, not worth the good money he paid for it (not as described). They did take it back but have been wary of this seller since.

Browsing through eBay, it appears that most seller seem to think that LGB and G Scale are the same thing.
Yep, I've noticed it frequently over the years. They know, but they also know that people will search LGB - happens in other scales as well.

I think you are right, my early one only had con rods and slide bar without the benefit of other detailed valve gear parts which I had to scratch build when I converted mine to a Tralee n Dingle 2-6-0t. Don't remember a smoker but as I never use them it would have been discarded when I did the conversion.

Manufacturer is also on the bottom of the motor block and the 'pony' truck on the front has power pickup wires and looks exactly like the Bachmann 4-6-0
