It was a warm afternoon and it was time for a little bit of steam

A warm Friday afternoon, all chores done, nothing left outstanding...mmmmm perhaps a live steamer or two.
Stuart (Marshman) popped over with his lumberjack to give it some running in as it had not seen a lot of rail. He also brought his RC battery Accucraft Baguley
I decided to give my Live Steam 3 cylinder shay some time to work herself in as she too, needs a bit more mileage to get nice and loose.
I also put out my RC Accucraft Whitcomb diesel.

The RC battery locos followed each other around the local line (with the reverse loops) for hours, while we had fun with the steamers.

The Lumberjack went, light at first, and then had a car or two later .
The shay pulled a log train with skeleton cars, crane and work car. and later another work car from the stable.

As the day was warm and there was a breeze, hardly any plume came from the locos (that was definitely unusual for the shay as it gives off a real goodly `cloud`)

First off, the Lumberjack went through its paces and relished the incline although it did do down hill a wee bit sppedy.....the `gearing kit` should help with that.
