Its free to a good home. Remains of tramway.

A once in a lifetime opportunity to own some of the original Lanyon Valley tramway. Up for grabs is what remains. Its free, gratis but you will have to take it yourself. Otherwise under direction from "SWMBO" to take it to the tip.... There are some points remaining as well as other bits of track, traction poles and power supplies. Located in Canberra Australia......

Sad day Trev. I used to read your build posts with much admiration. My son is shortly going to start on his tramway - pity we live thousands of miles away as this could have been incorporated into some sort of resurrection.

Like the two Mikes, I used to enjoy reading (and seeing) the sheer technical expertise which created this tramway. Very, very sorry to learn of the need to finally lift it.

I agree with t'others. A sad day trev. I used to follow developments on your tramway with great interest. If I lived a little nearer, I would definitely be interested, if for no othervreason than to keep the spirit of Tramcar Trev alive.

I was thinking of No69 - Kew to StKilda but thought some may take an unsavoury inference...
