Jumpy regulator

My remote controlled Lady Anne has developed a jumpy regulator. Whether set at open or closed the servo arm is constantly twitching up and down. Any thoughts on whether this is a problem with the transmitter, receiver or servo?

Mike

Occasionally mine have been seen to 'twitch' or hunt also. I think it is more prevalent when the signal is weak, such as when battery power is waning. Try recharging both sets and try again.

Thanks. I have charged the ones in the transmitter so I will now do the same with those in the engine and see if that does the trick.

Presumably you have a 2.4Ghz System? However the Charged Batteries is sound advice. If you have NiCad Batteries you might like to consider a change to NiMh as these do not suffer from a Memory Effect on recharging if not fully drained.

Yes I suggest charging the receiver batteries as the first check. I've had the same problem when the RX batteries are going flat.

Thanks for the suggestions. Dodgy battery box terminals and one duff battery. Both now replaced and problem appears to be solved. Will finally test outdoors when fine. Thanks for the good advice.

Good to hear you've found the problem.
