Kiss 0-4-4-0 Mallet '5906'

Sold for 2400.00 GBP
(inc. 0 GBP donated to website)
This doesn't come easy, but I need to part with this beautiful all metal scale model bought new from Big Train World.
She has seen very little running (all indoors), is pristine and comes with the original very strong box.
Price incudes shipping with Hermes, or you may collect from my house if you can face travelling to Barry, south Wales!
Payment by bank transfer preferred, please; I would be happy with a couple of instalments if it would help, assuming you trust me with your pennies.

Too slow rest of you mine and paid for,
You forget many of us are poor pensioners who can't afford to go chucking money around on trains Jon.

Too true, but I drove one of these at a line in Kent and have lusted for one ever since. Fits right in with my Selktalbahn theme though she was not present when I visited Alexisbad in 1981. I have since had a ride or two behind her on my varying Harz visits and it is nicely different to the other 0-4-4-0 Malletts. my mate who was with me in one of those trips had to be told the real identification differences besides the number and he has taken hundreds if pics of both types! There are a couple on German Ebay just now so I am so glad I did not jump for one of them.

Have to say I was so surprised and lucky to get in so fast, normally I am days behind something so desirable.

Tut tut, shouldn't have given you that loco to drive.......

Will you lot pack it in? Here am I, deep in mourning at loosing such a gem and all I get is photos!
You will have to excuse the tear-stained wrapping on your parcel, Jon.
(and as for ebay mike pleading 'poor pensioner'...)

Well just think of Jon's poor wallet, having that amount wrenched out

I may have to mask up and come and visit.... ;)

What a lovely product of the careful manufacturing carried out by Kiss. Needless to say a quick short test on my only bit of electrified track in the Shed confirmed all was well. Here she behind my Green Trainline45 99-5903 showing rhe difference in size, the rear parts were exactly parallel on the track.

I have already had it on the program track to check out CV29 which as it was 6 had one added to it to reverce the direction. This will make it so that it runs Chimney First out of Gernrode when I turn the controller to the left which works on most of my line. Makes life simpler for visitors.

Below you can see the inside chassis and the cylinders that easily define the differences between this and the other Harz Malletts, that front overhang is also a big giveaway.

This will be another Battery Conversion and those couplings with hooks will need the hooks removed. Had a look underneath and pulling apart looks quite simple being all screw construction. But she will have to wait a little while till I have some other things off the workbench.
