Well my first own build station is on its way. It will be for our module layout. So it will
be only about 15 cm deep.

First of all I had to find some pictures of the station

Then start the math. Tried to be as precise as possible, but 44,78 cm will be 45 cm and
I will be using Pola/Faller windows and doors.

First the panel for the overall size of the building

It will become 145 cm wide and 45 cm high.

And guess what was under the christmas tree ???

So first panel was ready for windows.

To give an idea of what type of building I want it to become.

3mm plywood. all will be covered with 1mm and 1,5 mm balsa wood.

It's not a Heidi chassis Phil. I think it's got the U class cylinders so I'd reckon a total scratchbuilt body on possibly a heavily modified Frank S chassis?

That is a lovely station Marc and a very good how to as well. Where did you get the windows from?
