Hi all
Sorry to lump this all together, but I have just put three videos on my website which might be of interest.
The first is Rob Bushill's Lawley hauling Swift Sixteen coaches on the SLR.
The second is Rob Bennetts 7/8ths conversion of a Roundhouse Dylan, filmed on his railway.
And the third is part of Stuart Timms' article on fitting a Chuffer to a much modified Frank S. There is a link to this from the news page.
You can find them all here:

Cheers
Chris

If you are trying to access it on an iPhoe or iPad, it doesn't work because they don't support Adobe Flash. Firefox and Safari are working fine here.....
Cheers

Wow, an impressive Dylan conversion.

I have had a soft spot for these locos since the 1980s...would love to own one or a meths Lady Anne someday.

Hi Garrett - I totally agree about the meths fired Roundhouse locos - I have a 1983 Lady Anne with tender that is an absolute delight to run. You can see it here:

My first two steamers were:

1, A Frank-S

And 2, a Lady Anne, albeit gas fired...

Thank you Chris, I have seen your video before but forgot about it. Very nice.

The more I look, the 7/8ths version of the Dylan looks better proportioned then the 16mm version, the 16mm version was a bit low and wide.

Why oh why doesn't someone do a meths 16mm loco again...:(

I did like the Dylan - chuff sound was brilliant too. And some of those buildings on Rob's line - particularly the old barn converted into a workshop - were superb!

It would be nice to see a visual comparison of stock against 1.20th or LGB!

Just noticed something, the Dylan in the video is an 0-6-0? I remember them being 0-4-0s?

EDIT- RH museum shows that in '88 it became internally blow-torch fired and an 0-6-0....learn something new every day.

That reminds me i must get around to fitting a chuffer in my Lawley, oh and all the video's work fine on my HTC phone. (but then again the iphone is all bling and no features) :rolf::rolf:
