Lawley Min Radius Curve?

Im about to purchase my first live steamer and have narrowed my choice to a Lawley or Ragleth. Unfortunately due to size constraints on my railway I am restricted to R1 curves (no reverses).

Could anyone advise how well the Lawley copes with R1's

Cheers

My experience is on 32mm gauge.
Lawley can just manage 2'6" "set track" curves, but had problems with my own manually curved track.
There were even more problems with hand built points at 2'6" radius.

The answer was to remove the centre flanges, and she's much happier, as is Wrekin.

My feeling is that 2'6" on 32mm is dynamically very close to R1 on 45mm.

It goes round my R1s ok.
