Leader Back On The Rails

Just out of the AJR workshop, No.2 has had a rebuild due to a blocked steam pipe on the valve block. New unit fitted thanks to John at Trackshack who tracked me one down in double quick time.

Whilst stripped I decided to repaint in French blue (black loco's are horrible to photograph). Now the leader steams like a dream :)

Ooooh! Nice clean lining.

Course in my book, the blue is far tooo light, 'Prussian' is more to my taste, with double yellow and black lining.:bigsmile:

By 'Eck, that was quick work. Looks excellent.

Do the photographs do the colour justice? Is the lining tape or paint?
