Only some of the orders have been delivered already. There are also rumours about the model being recalled to the factory for unknown problems.

Anything more from the German forums about this rumour, DR? Or was it a false alarm? Is the consensus that it is safe to buy a loco from the first batch? Very interested because IF I buy one it'll be by mailorder from Germany due to the significant price difference, so I'd want to be fairly confident that it won't need sending back.....
I haven't heard anything about a possible recall anymore, so guess that was a false alarm.
BUT, some Germans have reported some issues with their loco's:
- used plastic is weak (still Luran S, but much thinner than used by Lehmann). F.e.: The supports for the "Heberleinbremse" (the brake things on the roof) break off easily --> be careful!
- no(t much) grease in the gearbox --> add some yourself
- the smoke generator is 'spitting', as the hole in the smokestack is too small (my German was too poor to understand the complete sentence, so not sure about this!!)
- screws on the valve gear haven't been placed well --> check them, and fasten the screws if needed.
- poor wiring: the wire from the switch (on/off for analogue operation) to the main electric circuit board is about 30-40cm long, but the switch is right next to it...
It's quite a list... But some people have all these problems, some people have a perfect model... Guess you have to be lucky &:
